
Gilberto Sassi
Data Scientist and Natural Language Processing (NLP) specialist at the Department of Statistics of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at UFBA. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Institute of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of São Paulo (USP), with a Ph.D. in Statistics from the same institute. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), with research focused on Functional Data Analysis, Copulas, and Item Response Theory. He has extensive experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and artificial intelligence applications.
